Folio 34r computes the masonry for the fortification's walls. One note gives the wall as 6 braccia thick, 2 high and 140 long, and another records 1280 canne for the walls of the hill's moat and 1640 canne for the walls of the fortress. The rest of the sheet is filled with the supporting multiplications and divisions (640x16, 160x4, 140x12 and the like) and small red-chalk box figures of wall segments.

For the walls of the hill's moat, 1280 canne are required, and for the walls of the fortress, 1640 canne. These are the totals of masonry to be raised on site.
Volume multiplications behind the wall estimates (640 x 16 = 10240)
The sheet is worked through with the products supporting the wall volumes, such as 640 times 16 giving 10240 and 160 times 4 giving 640, together with divisions reducing the results to canne. The number 140 (the wall's length) recurs in a parallel multiplication (140 x 12 = 1680).
