Light and Shadow around a Central Body between Two Spheres
A luminous semicircle, a shaded central column threaded with rays, and two flanking spheres casting cones
In faint pencil a semicircular luminous body spans the top of the sheet, sending converging rays downward. A shaded upright body in the middle is crossed through by these rays, while two small spheres at either side each throw a shaded cone outward. Blocks of mirror-script prose fill the lower half of the leaf and are not transcribed in the bundle, so further untranscribed text is present.

Converging rays and a central shaded body
Straight rays drawn from across the luminous arc converge on and cross through an upright shaded body at the center of the sheet. The crossing lines trace how light reaching the body from many points of an extended source overlaps within and behind it.
Flanking spheres and their cast cones
A small sphere set to each side of the central body casts a shaded triangular cone outward toward the margins. The pair frames the central study by showing simpler round bodies and the shadows they throw under the same light.
