Two overlapping leaves of prose with headings (Ms A)
A foliated sheet with a smaller leaf laid over its top margin; library stamp and a later marginal note.
Two of the Ashburnham I leaves cut from Manuscript A are shown together, a larger foliated sheet with a narrower leaf overlapping its upper margin, both in Leonardo's mirror script. Several titled paragraphs fill the main column, accompanied by an oval Institut de France stamp and a small block of later annotation in an upright hand at the left. No drawings or diagrams appear, and the text itself is not supplied in this bundle. Further untranscribed writing is present on both visible leaves.

Untranscribed titled paragraphs across two leaves
The main sheet carries several centred headings each followed by a paragraph of Leonardo's mirror script, with a further strip of prose on the overlapping leaf above. None of the wording is included in the bundle, so it is described rather than transcribed. A few lines of later note in an upright, non-mirror hand sit in the left margin.
