Prose page with several chapter headings (Ms A)
Multiple titled paragraphs in mirror script; a few later lines at the foot.
A page of Leonardo's mirror-script prose from the Ashburnham I leaves cut from Manuscript A, organised into several short titled paragraphs beneath a strip of overlapping text at the top. The layout of many centred headings each governing a brief block of prose is characteristic of Manuscript A's precepts, and no drawings appear. The wording is not supplied in this bundle and is left untranscribed, with a few faint lines of later annotation in an upright hand at the very foot. Further untranscribed text covers the leaf.

Untranscribed sequence of titled precepts
Several centred headings, each followed by a short paragraph of Leonardo's mirror script, run down the page in the manner of Manuscript A's discursive precepts. None of the text is given in the bundle, so it is described rather than read. No figures accompany it, and a few later lines in an upright hand appear at the bottom edge.
