An ink foliation reads 24 and 25 across this opening, whose written half is covered with mirror-script in headed paragraphs; no diagrams accompany the text and the Institut de France stamp is present. The bundle supplied no transcription, so the wording is left untranscribed here rather than read from the image. The drawn folios elsewhere in this reunited run treat light, shadow and vision, the likely setting for these notes. A few smaller lines at the foot are also present but untranscribed.
