Long open trough or hull and a small latticed drum
Ink studies of elongated open structures; further text untranscribed
The upper part of the sheet, headed 'Italien 2037' and numbered folio 1, shows a long open trough or shallow boat-like hull drawn in perspective, its near end closed by an angled panel, beside a small cylindrical vessel banded with a diamond lattice. A second, similar elongated form is sketched lower on the leaf. Several lines of Leonardo's mirror-script accompany the drawings; they are not included in this bundle and remain untranscribed here.

Elongated open trough or boat-like hull in perspective
A long, shallow open structure is drawn receding into the sheet, with straight sides and a near end shaped into an angled, hooded panel. A smaller cylindrical vessel wrapped in a diamond-lattice pattern stands to its upper right. A second elongated form of the same kind is sketched lower down.
Accompanying untranscribed notes
Two blocks of Leonardo's right-to-left mirror-script run across the middle and lower portions of the leaf, evidently explaining the drawn structures. The text was not supplied with this bundle and is not read or transcribed here.
