Centralized Church with Interior Section and Plan
Perspective of a towered domed church, a cutaway of its interior, and a cross-in-square plan
This sheet develops a single centrally planned church through three coordinated studies. At the top a domed building with corner campanili and flanking cupolas is drawn in perspective, approached by exterior stairs. At the left a cutaway shows the vaulted, arcaded interior bays, and in the center a square ground plan sets out an inscribed circle-and-quatrefoil scheme on a piered grid. Several lines of mirror-writing fill the lower margin; this text is not in the bundle and is not transcribed here. The leaf carries the stamp of the Bibliothèque de l'Institut de France and an old folio number.

Domed church with corner towers
The main perspective shows a compact centralized church whose high central dome is ringed by lower cupolas and framed by slender corner campanili. A broad flight of steps leads up to the arched entrance front.
Cutaway of the vaulted interior
At the left the building is sliced open to reveal its interior: tiers of arched openings and groin-vaulted bays wrap around the central space. The section studies how the arms and ambulatory carry the drum above.
Cross-in-square ground plan
The central plan is laid out on a square grid of piers with an inscribed circle and quatrefoil of secondary domes. Diagonals and circles are ruled through the figure to fix the symmetry of the centralized scheme.
