The upper part of the sheet is dominated by a large lifting crane built on a framed, rotating base, labelled simply as a crane. Below, a naval weapon is described: two cortaldi mounted on strong vessels are joined by a scythe twelve braccia long, a foot wide at the middle and a finger thick along its back, held by a strong chain or new wet rope. The whole is to be set on fire all at once.
