Block-and-tackle in three arrangements, twin bombards with a shared breech, and strong light arches
A miscellany of hoisting gear and structures. Leonardo sets out block-and-tackle in horizontal, vertical and circular series for raising a beam, along with a wheel combined with counterweights and a group of indeterminate sketches. To the right are coupled bombards, with a note to make a single breech common to two barrels. Lower on the sheet are a short bridging platform against a wall, a framed festival pavilion lettered m o r and n p S, and a figure of very strong and light arches.

Block-and-tackle for hoisting a beam
A beam is raised by pulleys arranged in several ways: a horizontal series (to pull with tackles), a vertical series (tackles for hoisting upright) and a circular series. The tackles multiply the pull applied at the ropes.
Wheel combined with counterweights
One figure combines a wheel with counterweights, set among a group of indeterminate sketches. The arrangement continues the sheet's theme of gaining mechanical advantage. Its details are read only from the drawing.
Coupled bombards sharing one breech (A, b)
Two bombards are set in a vertical line and are to be given a single common tail, or breech, serving both barrels. The second figure from the right is lettered A and b. The pairing lets one charge feed two muzzles.
Framing a festival pavilion (m o r, n p S)
This shows the way to frame a platform for festivities. So that it does not sag crosswise, the timber m n and likewise r S are fixed with r p and m p into the foot of the timber o p. A short bridging platform is also set against a wall.
Very strong and light arches
A figure at the foot of the page is captioned as very strong and light arches. It shows a pointed vault springing between piers. No further prose accompanies it.
