This leaf, headed by a short passage of Leonardo's mirror-script and holding the Bibliotheque de l'Institut stamp, is filled with drawings of the metal-drawing mill (trafila): at the left a tall block pierced with a keyhole-shaped opening, in the centre-below a block driven by a crank with a curved handle, and at the right a set of light frames resembling stools or trestles. Several paragraphs of Italian mirror-writing surround the diagrams. No transcription for this page is provided in the bundle, so its wording is not rendered here.

Keyhole-shaped die block and crank-driven mechanism
A tall block pierced with a keyhole-shaped opening stands at the left, evidently the die through which the metal sheet is drawn. Below and to the centre are further mechanical blocks and a block turned by a crank with a curved handle.
Supporting frames and trestles
At the right stand light frames resembling stools or trestles, apparently the supporting framework of the mill. A small isometric box is sketched at the upper right. Further untranscribed text fills the columns around the drawings.
