Water raised by the motion of other water grows thinner
Water that rises continuously because of the motion of other water becomes as much thinner than the water that moves it as it is longer. The longer the raised stream, the more slender it is relative to the driving water.
Adding water above a two-braccia fall reduces the drop
If the water n a, p o has a fall of two braccia, then adding the water n m, p q above it means it will no longer have as much fall. The lettered mounds map where each portion of water sits along the descent.
