Table of land measures: braccia, trabocco, tavola, pertica
24 tavole make a pertica; a pertica equals 1936 (or 1944) square braccia
In red chalk Leonardo sets out a chain of land-measure equivalences: 24 tavole make a pertica, 4 trabocchi make a tavola, and 4½ braccia make a trabocco, with the figures 11, 9 and 99 written alongside. In pen below he adds that a pertica amounts to 1936 square braccia, or alternatively 1944, followed by a column of working figures. The leaf is otherwise faint, with show-through from adjacent pages.

Equivalences of tavola, trabocco and braccia
24 tavole make a pertica; 4 trabocchi make a tavola; 4½ braccia make a trabocco. These stepped conversions, noted in red chalk, build the larger land unit up from the smaller braccio, with the figures 11, 9 and 99 set beside them.
A pertica reckoned in square braccia
In pen Leonardo states that a pertica is 1936 square braccia, or alternatively 1944, and sets down a column of working figures alongside as he checks the area computation.
