In ink at the upper right a weight or plumb hangs from a line against a drawn circle, suggesting a study of a pendulum, wheel, or hanging load, while a long horizontal bar is drawn across the middle of the page like a lever or beam. Suspended weight over a circle
At upper right a small weight hangs by a line so that it rests against a drawn circle, the kind of arrangement Leonardo used to study pendulums, rolling wheels, or the equilibrium of a hanging load. The figure is undesignated and carries no letters or note.
Horizontal bar
A long straight bar runs across the middle of the leaf, resembling a lever or balance beam. It is drawn on its own, without supports or labels.
