Untranscribed mirror-script notes headed 'a feather' and 'fortification'
Two ruled blocks of Leonardo's right-to-left mirror script, written upside down relative to the sheet, fill this folio. The e-Leo edition heads them only as 'a feather' (una penna) and 'fortification' (fortificazione) and supplies no transcription, so the writing is present on the page but not given in this bundle. No finished drawing is resolved in the reproduction, and the substance of the two notes cannot be reported without transcribing the sheet.
