Memoranda: the Archimedes of Padua, an itinerary, and sums
A note to obtain a manuscript of Archimedes, distances toward Foligno, and arithmetical operations
Among the notes is a reminder about 'the Archimedes of the Bishop of Padua,' evidently a manuscript Leonardo hoped to consult, followed by an unfinished word. Along the left margin an itinerary lists distances from Bonconvento through the Casa Nova, Chiusi and Perugia toward Santa Maria degli Angeli and Foligno. The page also carries a block of arithmetical operations and a short account noting that 'he has given 25 soldi.' The sheet is densely covered with mirror-script jottings.

Itinerary from Bonconvento to Foligno
Written along the left margin, the note gives stages and distances: Bonconvento to the Casa Nova 10 miles, Casa Nova to Chiusi 9 miles, Chiusi to Perugia 12 miles, then Perugia to Santa Maria degli Angeli and on to Foligno.
Arithmetical operations
A block of figures works through calculations involving the numbers 60, 7 and 40, with a product of 280, alongside further numbers such as 600 and 6, apparently a set of multiplications.
Account note: 25 soldi given
A short entry records that he has given 25 soldi, another of the running money notes scattered through the notebook.
