Verso: Collection Notes and a Small Chalk Bust
Old attribution inscriptions above a pasted red-chalk fragment
The verso of the sheet is largely blank, carrying several lines of faint pencil inscription across the upper half, evidently old inventory and attribution notes, together with a small rectangular fragment of paper pasted at the lower right. That fragment bears a tiny red-chalk study of a head-and-shoulders bust turned toward the upper right. The inscriptions were not supplied in the bundle and so are not transcribed here.

Small pasted bust fragment
A small piece of paper mounted at the lower right corner preserves a rapid red-chalk sketch of a bust, the head tilted and seen from below. It appears to be a cut fragment of a larger figure study attached to the blank verso.
