Faint sketch on verso, possibly a head
A very lightly drawn form with a later attribution query
The verso bears a very faint, unfinished sketch in black chalk: a large rounded form with slight interior modelling that may be read as a head, together with a few loose strokes toward the right edge. An old ink inscription with a question mark, a later attribution query, sits near the centre, and a modern inventory number is written at the lower right. The inscription is a later addition and is not transcribed here.

Faint unfinished sketch
A soft rounded outline with faint interior shading occupies the upper centre of the sheet and can be read as a head or bust, though the drawing is too lightly worked to be certain. A few scattered strokes appear toward the right edge.
