Piper, satyr and nudes
The principal figures are a seated man playing a pipe at the top centre and a satyr-like figure to his right who grasps a tall staff topped by a flame. Around them are further nude studies: a woman raising her arms at the lower left and a heavy nude bending forward beside a child at the lower right.
Grotesque marginal scrollwork
Coiling grotesque ornament fills the outer edges of the sheet, with foliate scrolls at the left margin enclosing a small seated figure and further scrollwork with a winged grotesque at the upper right corner. A lion-like mask appears near the lower centre.
