Draped figure and crouching nude
The dominant study is a standing, lightly draped figure at the upper right, poised in contrapposto and holding a long thin staff. A more summary crouching nude bends forward at the upper left, exploring a compact, folded pose.
Grotesque heads and masks
The lower zone is given over to grotesque invention: a large bearded grotesque head or mask at the centre, a satyr-like head raising its arms at the lower right in an atlas-like gesture, and smaller figures. A small leafy sprig is drawn at the lower-left edge.
