The blank versos of the two profile studies, mounted one above the other, each carry a circular collector's stamp with a monogram and handwritten old inventory numbers. Dark rectangular tabs at the top and bottom are the photographer's register strips. No original drawing is present, and the inscriptions are not transcribed in the bundle.
