Faint radiating-line constructions with an arc
Two ghostly geometric figures of lines converging to a low point; accompanying writing untranscribed
Both halves of this opening carry very faint constructions in which a row of vertical parallel lines and a fan of straight lines converge toward a low point, closed below by a shallow arc (folio 110v, captioned simply 'Figura'). Folio 109r bears further faint writing (captioned 'Scritte') and a similar figure, none of which is transcribed in the source. The lines are so pale that little can be read with confidence.

Fan of lines converging to a point beneath vertical parallels
A series of vertical parallel lines drops from the top of the sheet, and a bundle of straight lines fans down from them to meet at a single low point, the whole bounded below by a shallow arc. A second, fainter version of the same construction appears on the facing folio.
