Chapter headings on levelling, diverting, and deepening rivers
The verso (125v) carries a rule-of-three sum relating a measure of circumference to square braccia, while the recto (122r) sets out a long index of chapter headings for a treatise on water. The headings cover levelling waters, drawing rivers away from the places they harm, straightening and dividing rivers, deepening their beds, and the origin of rivers that pour from high mountain peaks. Further untranscribed sketches, a starburst and curved arcs, and columns of calculation are visible on the left leaf.

Rule of three: circumference to square braccia
A worked proportion: if 12 of circumference gives 20 square braccia, then 10 gives 16 and 2/3, which added to 20 makes 36 braccia and 2/3.
