Loaded beams, struts and lever balances
The sheet is filled with beams and inclined struts under load, triangular trusses, and horizontal levers balanced on central fulcrums, the recurring subject of Leonardo's statics studies. No accompanying text was transcribed.
Balance beam resting on paired rollers
Several arrangements show a horizontal beam supported on two small rollers or wheels, a mechanism for reducing friction beneath a pivoting bar. The construction recurs in the lower half of the sheet.
