Heating vessels, a funnel and a masonry furnace
Transmitted-light view; extensive text in another hand is present but untranscribed.
By transmitted light the sheet shows paragraphs of writing beside a group of craft-apparatus sketches. The right half depicts shallow pans and basins set over flames, a suspended conical funnel, a barrel or tub, and a standing figure working at a tall masonry furnace with fire at its base. The critical edition notes text in another hand that is not transcribed here, so the drawings are described from the image alone.

Vessels heated over fire and a funnel
The right half of the sheet shows shallow pans and a basin set over flames, a suspended conical funnel and a barrel or tub. Together they read as apparatus for heating, boiling or distilling. A small landscape of hills is sketched nearby.
Masonry furnace tended by a figure
At the upper right a standing figure works at a tall masonry furnace or kiln with fire at its base, beside a second squat furnace-like block. The stonework courses and flames are drawn in outline.
