Triangle proposition, square roots and household grocery accounts
A geometry note and a multiplication table amid two columns of a servant's daily expenses
The sheet mixes Leonardo's geometry with domestic bookkeeping in another hand. A short note states a condition of the triangle, a marginal table squares the numbers 2, 3 and 4, and pen sketches of circles, concentric rings and polygons inscribed in circles fill the two halves. Down the right and, upside down, the left, a household servant records daily grocery outlays received from 'master Leonardo' for bread, fruit, meat, bran, hay, butter, eggs, candles and more, reckoned in soldi and denari. A blank patched disc at lower right and further faint jottings remain untranscribed.

Condition of the triangle
A brief proposition on the triangle: its hypotenuses are worth as much as the perimeter of its base. The claim sits beside pen figures of triangles and circles.
Table of squares
A marginal multiplication table squares successive numbers: 2 times 2 is 4, 3 times 3 is 9, 4 times 4 is 16, and again 3 times 3 is 9. It accompanies a truncated triangle drawn in the left margin.
Circles, concentric rings and inscribed polygons
The lower half carries drawn circles, a set of concentric rings, and several small circles with squares and triangles inscribed within them. These figures are not covered by the transcribed notes.
Grocery account, right column (not Leonardo's hand)
A servant records what he received from master Leonardo: on Thursday morning, sums for bread, fruit, meat, bran and hay; on Friday morning, bread, fruit, bran, butter, eggs and peas. Amounts are entered in soldi and denari.
Grocery account, left column (sheet inverted)
Turning the sheet over, a second week of expenses runs from Thursday to Sunday morning: bread, meat, sausage, fruit, bran, hay, horseshoeing, candles, eggs and other items, each with its cost in soldi and denari.
