Architectural studies: cornice, column and vaults

Though the transcription records the sheet as bearing no writing, it is covered with architectural sketches. At the upper right a classical entablature with a projecting cornice and modillions stands above a slender column. Across the rest of the leaf are many small studies of intersecting arches, ribbed or groined vaults and tent-like pavilion structures, with a larger fan-like vault standing out at the right.

Studies of vaults and pavilion structures
The centre and left of the sheet are covered with small studies of intersecting arches, ribbed or groined vaults and tent-like pavilion structures, several with converging support lines. A larger fan-like vault stands out toward the right.
