Mechanical Sketches: Spoked Wheel and Curved Members
A faint sheet that was invisible before restoration
The single editorial note records only that this side of the sheet was invisible before its restoration. Faint pen-and-pencil sketches now reveal mechanical studies, including a large spoked wheel set within a tall curved frame, several bow- or spring-like curved members, and smaller assemblies of struts and boxes. Further untranscribed jottings appear in the upper right corner, and the drawings themselves carry no accompanying text in the bundle.

Large spoked wheel within a curved frame
The most developed sketch shows a wheel with radial spokes and a central hub enclosed by a tall arched or curved framework. Rods and cross-members extend around it, suggesting a driven mechanism rather than a plain wheel. The drawing is faint and no dimensions or labels are legible.
Curved spring- or bow-like members and lesser devices
Several looping curved elements, drawn like bent springs or bows, occupy the lower centre and left of the sheet. Around them are smaller studies of struts, boxes and bracketed forms. Their function is not stated in the transcription.
