The verso is essentially blank, dominated by the show-through of the recto's geometric, optical and hydraulic diagrams. Along one margin, written from the bottom upward in ordinary (non-mirror) script and said to continue a phrase from the recto, is a short fragment of a line about a 'perfect father' and things duly placed, too broken to yield a full sense.
