Faint red-chalk mechanical sketch with a word fragment
A sanguine study of a curved arm and small wheel; only a few words survive
The verso is nearly blank, carrying a faint red-chalk (sanguine) sketch in the lower right of a curved arm sweeping up to a small wheel or pulley, with angular framing lines below. The only transcribed writing is a broken fragment, 'A mezz… se...', too incomplete to interpret. Faint traces of further red-chalk marks and letters are present but not transcribed in the bundle.

Sanguine sketch of an arm and wheel
In the lower right a light red-chalk drawing shows a curved arm rising to a small circular wheel or pulley, with straight framing lines beneath it. The forms suggest a mechanical member but are too faint to identify with certainty.
