The verso of the inserted wing leaf: the membrane and frame of the flying-machine wing show through and are drawn on this side, overlaid with red-chalk (sanguigna) figures. Columns of mutilated numbers marked 'd.' (denari) and a lower group with 's.' (soldi) record small sums of money. The numeric fractions in the first block appear to note measurements or ratios, and additional faint script beyond the transcribed figures survives on the sheet.

Wing frame and membrane on the verso
The rounded wing membranes and jointed frame of the flying-machine wing are drawn on this face of the leaf, with red-chalk numerals written across the surface. The wing repeats and complements the studies on the recto.
Red-chalk column of figures with fractions
A column of red-chalk numbers runs 15, 24, 35, 48, 63 against fractional values (2/5, 1/2, 1 2/5, 1 1/3, 1 2/7), apparently a small table of values or measurements. The figures are set out one per line.
Columns of denari and soldi
Two groups of figures record money: a broken column repeatedly marked 'd.' (denari) with values such as 8 and 4, and a lower group adding 's.' (soldi) beside the denari. Together they read as a tally of small sums.
