A sheet of mechanical elements: rungs, hooked chains, coils and a screw jack
The sheet is covered with pen studies of separate mechanical elements: several tall rung-and-rail ladders, vertical lengths of hooked chain, tightly coiled springs, a screw jack raising a small platform, and a zig-zag scissor (lazy-tongs) linkage. A faint circular construction and the number 135 sit among the devices. The e-Leo catalogue records the leaf as revealed only after restoration and notes no transcribed text, though faint traces of writing survive at the lower left.

Rung ladders and hooked chains
Several tall assemblies of parallel rails crossed by regularly spaced rungs run the height of the sheet, resembling ladders or extensible frames. Alongside them hang vertical lengths of chain built of looped links ending in hooks. All are drawn in pen over light guide-lines.
Screw jack and coiled springs
At the lower left a screw jack lifts a small platform on a threaded shaft. Nearby are tightly wound coiled springs and further hooked fittings. These read as individual mechanical components set side by side rather than one assembled machine.
Scissor (lazy-tongs) linkage
Toward the lower centre a zig-zag scissor linkage of the lazy-tongs type is drawn, the kind of expanding lattice used to extend or retract a reach. A small spray- or jet-like motif and further fittings are sketched beside it.
