Mechanical rollers, a great wheel and a wheeled cart
Drum roller, geared assembly, an arched wheel-frame and a two-wheeled carriage
The leaf carries pen and wash studies of mechanisms: a geared roller assembly at the upper left, a banded cylindrical drum, a large spoked wheel set within an arched frame with a small vessel beside it, and, at the lower right, a low two-wheeled carriage with a wedge-shaped body. The e-Leo catalogue lists the sheet as revealed only after restoration and records no transcribed text, though passages of mirror-writing are visible beside the upper mechanism and the great wheel.

Geared roller assembly and banded drum
At the upper left a mechanism combines a toothed element with rollers, drawn in dark ink and partly shaded. Below and to the right of it a banded cylindrical drum is rendered in the round. Faint mirror-writing runs alongside the upper assembly.
Great wheel in an arched frame
On the right a large spoked wheel is mounted within a frame incorporating an arch, with a small handled vessel drawn just beyond it. The arrangement suggests a wheel-driven lifting or hauling device. A short line of mirror-writing sits near the wheel.
Two-wheeled carriage
At the lower right a low carriage is drawn with two large wheels and a wedge-shaped body. It is worked up more fully than the other sketches, with shading on the wheels and hub fittings shown.
