Mechanical studies: clamps, screw and funnel apparatus
A sheet of device sketches carrying no transcribed writing
Although the transcription records the page as bearing no text, the sheet is covered with mechanical sketches: clamps and a pincer-like lever mechanism at the upper part, a paired-roller device, and, at the centre, a tall threaded screw rising through a funnel supported on a trestle. Below it a drum-like body is ringed with vertical slats, with hanging weights and hooks. The drawings appear to study screws, presses and weight-loaded mechanisms.

Threaded screw over a funnel on a trestle
A long threaded rod stands vertically, passing through a funnel carried on a splayed trestle, and continues down into a slatted drum-like body. The arrangement suggests a screw press or lifting screw feeding into a container.
Clamps and pincer lever
The upper part of the sheet shows several clamp or vice fittings and a pincer-like jaw worked by a lever pivoting within a frame. A paired-disc roller device is drawn beside them.
