On a leaf that before restoration read largely as show-through, a single crisp drawing of a helical screw mounted on the head of a slender shaft is inked near the upper centre. The editor notes that this airscrew was visible at the recto by transparency before the sheet was restored. The Codex Atlanticus catalogue further tags the sheet with a series of Leonardo's fables, which are not part of this transcription and should be treated as further, untranscribed text on the leaf.
