A winding-river survey, marginal figures and grain accounts, with small pulley-and-weight sketches.
The sheet is dominated by a bird's-eye topographical drawing of a meandering river through a valley with settlements, drawn in ink; further untranscribed place-labels appear on the map itself. The transcribed writing is unrelated bookkeeping: a note that Giovanni Betti is owed sixteen staia of grain, and, with the sheet reversed, a list of names (Lazzero del Volpe, the Comune, Ser Piero) with strings of figures and a height of ten braccia. A block of arithmetical working occupies the margin, and small studies of pulleys, weights and levers are sketched at the left and lower edges.

Written with the sheet turned upside-down, a list gives Lazzero del Volpe, the Comune and Ser Piero with strings of figures and a stated height of ten braccia. It reads as a record of quantities or measurements rather than a caption to the map.
Columns of arithmetical working
A cluster of numbers set out in columns records calculations, including figures such as 801, 1728, 126 and 285. The working is jotted beside the map without explanatory text.
Pulley and weight sketches
Small studies of pulleys, discs and suspended weights on levers are drawn at the left margin and lower part of the sheet. They are unlabelled in the transcription and are described from the image.
