Bellows-Driven Water Device with Stopcocks and Valve
Notes on setting water in motion so a triangle and every receptacle fill by force
Pen sketches of a water-moving apparatus fed by a bellows, with a bellows-vessel, a tall vase carrying a spiral coil, and a small box drawn among fainter jottings. The notes explain that water is set going 'in exchange for air' through a little valve inside the bellows mouth, so that a triangle and all the other receptacles fill by force. The operator keeps one outlet plugged until everything is full, then unstops the one above and stops the lower in turn. Further faint and partly untranscribed writing is present on the sheet.

Setting water in motion by a bellows
Beside the bellows-vessel the note warns that when the water pours out here it must be stopped up quickly, because every part will then be full. The bellows gives the water its beginning, delivering water in exchange for air.
Sequence of stopcocks between stacked receptacles
One outlet is kept stopped until everything is full; when this one is stopped, the one above is unstopped, and when the upper pours out it is stopped and the lower opened. The flow is switched between levels in turn.
Internal valve at the bellows mouth
A little valve sits inside where the bellows opens onto it. On the draw-stroke the valve closes off within, while the water delivered is of such quantity that it fills the triangle and all the other receptacles by force.
