Water wheels and mill mechanisms (sheet bears no writing)
Pen studies of horizontal and vertical wheels, a tube-fed device, and a weight-driven mechanism with a hanging ball.
The editorial note records that this leaf bears no writing, yet it is covered with mechanical drawings. Sketched in pen are a horizontal paddle wheel and a toothed vertical wheel, a device fed by an upright tube or funnel, and, at the right, a weight-driven mechanism with a suspended ball. The forms suggest water-driven mills and related machinery. All description here rests on the drawings, as no transcription accompanies the sheet.

Paddle wheels and geared mechanisms
A horizontal paddle wheel set on a low platform and a toothed vertical wheel are drawn at the centre-left, linked by shafts and framing. The arrangement resembles a mill mechanism. No text accompanies these drawings.
Water-driven wheel with feed tube
An upright tube or funnel bends over to deliver its stream onto the wheel below it, in the manner of a water-driven mill. The device is noted here from the drawing alone.
Weight-driven mechanism with suspended ball
At the right a framed device carries a ball hanging on a line above a boxed mechanism, suggesting a weight- or gravity-driven action. No transcription accompanies it.
