Bowl-Shaped Machine with Comb Mechanism and Red-Chalk Studies

The transcription records this sheet as bearing no text. In pen and ink a large hemispherical bowl is drawn with a framework of rods and a toothed, comb-like fitting mounted along its upper rim, while faint framed sketches appear above. At the left, in red chalk, stands an upright ornamented object with a horizontal band of overlapping loops beneath it. The drawings belong to the group of textile- and spinning-machine studies carried on the neighbouring folios.

Hemispherical bowl with a rim mechanism
A large basin or bowl, drawn in pen and ink, is fitted at its upper edge with a horizontal assembly of rods and a comb-like toothed part carried on a small stand. The arrangement resembles a working head mounted over the mouth of the vessel. No text accompanies the drawing.
Red-chalk study at the left margin
