The transcription notes that this sheet bears no text. In pen and ink a tall rectangular frame encloses a vertical threaded screw running on guide bars, in the manner of a screw press or lifting screw. At the upper right a smaller plan or section shows a coiled spring set within a boxed housing, and a faint pencil outline of a bowl shows through the paper. An old inventory number is written at the top.

Framed vertical screw mechanism
