Faint Mechanism with Pulleys, Wheel and Spring
A sheet recovered by restoration, bearing a drawing but no writing
An editorial note records that this sheet was invisible before restoration and bears no writing. What survives is a faintly drawn mechanism in the upper part of the page: pulleys at the top corners, a wheel with a square axle at the right joined by a coiled spring, a horizontal beam, and cords running down to a lower pulley, with a long tapering blade or arm sweeping to the lower right. Further very faint underdrawing shows additional structures across the sheet.

Pulley-and-wheel mechanism with spring
The upper half carries a faint mechanical drawing: pulleys at the top-left and top-right corners, a wheel with a square axle at the right linked by a coiled spring, a horizontal beam and cords descending to a lower pulley, and a long tapering arm sweeping toward the lower right.
