Account for the rent of a furnished bed, 1474
A household rental account in another hand, not Leonardo's
The transcribed text is an accounting entry written in 1474 and expressly noted as not being in Leonardo's hand. It records that Lionardo da Bologna, a carpenter, rented a furnished bed from Piero di Michele and company for £1 s.13 a month, beginning 8 May 1474, and lists a run of monthly payments through the following January. The leaf also carries faint mechanical sketches, some showing through from the recto.

In the name of Lionardo da Bologna, carpenter, who rents a furnished bed as it appears in the tradesmen's ledger, folio 258, the bed being from Piero di Michele and company, for £1 s.13 rent per month beginning 8 May 1474. A series of payments is then listed on dates from 28 June through 28 January.
