Two wheel studies with notes on assembling the spokes
The sheet studies the construction of a large spoked wheel. The upper figure shows a hooped wheel carried in a bracket with a lever arm, meant to stand as the wheel below. The lower figure is a big wheel of broad spokes on a braced upright frame; Leonardo notes how the spokes of the wheel attach to its rim and how a screw clamps them at the middle, with a separate detail of a spoke end at the right.

Leonardo explains how the spokes of the nearby wheel join its rim and how a single screw clamps them together at the centre. The lower figure shows the broad spokes radiating from a central hub to the outer hoop.
Upper wheel to match the one below
A note by the upper figure states that it is to stand as the wheel drawn below it. The upper wheel is shown as a hoop held in a bracket with a lever, seen between horizontal bars.

A short label on the lower figure marks a part 'to put inside', indicating where a component seats within the wheel assembly.
