Red-chalk perspective of a fortification detail
Angular walls, a curved bastion-like form, and a small stair, drawn in sanguigna
Drawn in red chalk (sanguigna), this sheet shows a large angular structure in a steep bird's-eye perspective: massive walls meet at a projecting salient, enclosing a curved, bastion-like body with a smaller recessed compartment. A small stepped sketch sits at the lower right, and a later hand has added an old inventory number nearby. A note recorded on the verso of the same sheet identifies the subject as a fortification, a detail of which is developed here on the recto. The e-Leo transcription note for this side, made before the red-chalk work was recovered, records it as devoid of writing and drawing.

Angular fortification in red-chalk perspective
Heavy walls meet at a projecting salient angle, enclosing a curved bastion-like mass with a smaller recessed opening set into it. The whole is laid out in steep bird's-eye perspective in red chalk. A note on the verso identifies the subject as a fortification.
Stepped detail and curved flank
A separate small sketch of a stepped or stair-like element is drawn at the lower right. A broad curved line sweeps across the lower half of the sheet, describing the rounded flank of the structure.
