The sheet is a small bird's-eye map of the lower Arno and Serchio country in Tuscany, its settlements marked by little circles linked by threading rivers. Written place-names identify Lucca, Pisa and Livorno together with many surrounding villages such as Cascina, Pontedera, Colle Salvetti and Monte Nero. It records the coastal district west of Pisa down to Livorno and its lighthouse (Fanale).
