Though catalogued as devoid of writing, the sheet carries a faint pen-and-ruled ground plan laid out over a squared grid: a lattice of eight-sided (octagonal) cells joined at their corners, forming a centralized architectural plan. A small vaned or cross-shaped element sits at the centre of the grid. Two subsidiary sketches appear at the right — a cluster of grouped rectangular rooms at the upper right and a small cruciform, interlocking-square plan at the lower right.

Grid of octagonal spaces
The main field is a squared grid filled with adjoining octagonal cells, read as bays or chambers of a centralized plan. A small vaned or cruciform pivot marks the centre where the octagons meet.
Subsidiary plan sketches at the right
At the upper right is a smaller sketch of grouped rectangular rooms, and at the lower right a compact cruciform plan of interlocking squares. Both appear to be quick alternative or detail studies to the octagonal layout.
