The transcribed notes are mutilated balance schemes carrying weight values such as 1 3/4, 3/4, 3/5 and 3/10 along graduated beams, continuing the study of equilibrium from the recto. Drawn across the sheet are domed and canopied frame structures pierced with radiating lines, together with a long tick-marked rule; the holding collection's scholarly index links this sheet to a 'chair for the sick' (sedia per ammalati). Much further faded, mirror-written text on the sheet was not included in the transcription.
