A grinding/milling device, column-like shafts on a pedestal, and small geometric solids
Neither of the two mounted fragments bears text ('devoid of writing'). The left piece is a finished ink drawing of a milling or grinding machine, with paired large wheels and a spoked wheel on a horizontal shaft, a lantern gear, and a hopper set in a braced timber frame, a subject the Ambrosiana lists under millstones. The right piece assembles tall column-like or screw shafts around a squat central pedestal, together with an array of small blocks and scattered geometric solids. An old inventory numeral is inscribed at the centre of the right fragment.

Milling or grinding machine
A braced timber frame carries paired large wheels and a spoked wheel on a horizontal shaft, driven through a lantern gear, with a hopper below. It reads as a grinding or milling assembly, classified by the Ambrosiana among millstones.
Column-like shafts and a central pedestal
Tall shafts with bases and capitals rise beside a squat central pedestal that bears a mechanism; their reading between architectural columns and mechanical screw-uprights is uncertain.
Small geometric solids
Scattered across the upper right are small geometric figures, among them squares (some crossed by diagonals), triangles, and a cube in foreshortening.
