Two cut paper fragments are mounted side by side on this leaf. The editorial note records that both were invisible before restoration and bear no writing or drawing on this side. What can be seen is only the faint show-through from the recto: on the right-hand fragment, ghosted outlines of wheels and circular mechanical elements bleed through the sheet, consistent with the leaf's catalogue tag for bombards and machines.

Faint show-through of wheelwork
The right-hand fragment shows pale offset outlines of spoked wheels and circular components bleeding through from the drawings on the opposite side. Nothing is drawn on this face itself; the traces are transmitted ink and staining. The note states the sheet carried no writing or drawing here before restoration.
