Verso: Show-Through of Assault Bridge and Bombard
The recto's military machines showing faintly through a sheet without writing
This verso carries no writing, as the note records. Its faint imagery is the show-through of the recto drawings seen in reverse: the wheeled ramped assault structure and its wavy water crossing in the upper part, and the bombard on its wheeled carriage in the lower part. The lines are pale offset and staining transmitted through the sheet rather than ink laid on this face.

Show-through of the assault ramp and moat
Faint reversed outlines of the wheeled ramped structure and the wavy band of water appear in the upper half, bleeding through from the recto. No independent drawing is present on this side.
Faint offset of the bombard carriage
In the lower half the ringed barrel and wheeled carriage of the recto's bombard show through faintly, mirrored left-to-right. The traces are transmitted ink, not fresh drawing.
