Later inscription: 'Mechanica potissimum'
A note added in another hand: 'Mechanics above all, to be begun at the end.'
The leaf is otherwise blank apart from a Latin inscription added in a later, non-Leonardo hand, recorded as 'Mechanica potissimum. In fine incipiendum' ('Mechanics, above all: to be begun at the end'). The catalogue notes it is in a different hand from Leonardo's.
